Kathleen's New Bodice

Kathleen's New Bodice

27 November 2007

Barely home from TRF . . . trailer still attached to truck . . . must sew . . .

Strange to not have the dogs at home.  I even called Kyle’s folks to check on them . . . I was told that although Cormac did lay by the front door for about a day and a half (the last place he saw us), they are fine and not too much trouble.

Today’s picture is of Kathleen’s new bodice that she commissioned this year for the ball.  I made her skirts a number of years ago, specifically to match a bodice she already had (her wedding bodice, in fact).  And now, I had the privilege of making a bodice to match it.  It was really a pleasure to do, and it came out charmingly.

Now, I can concentrate on my own stuff . . .
