Wick

2 February 2010
Sadly, I have not a single memory of the day or the photo. I can’t even tell you where I took this photo.
Wick
Yet more reason to get caught up & stay caught up.
Cheers.

Full Moon

31 January 2010
My little camera is on it’s last legs. :-(
Since you can’t really tell, I’ll tell you: This is supposed to be a photo of a full moon.
Full Moon
Sigh.

Blue & Gold

30 January 2010
Marita Beth & I, along with many, many others, went to the Rahr today. The reason was wrong, the timing was right. Our friend Bert shuffled off this coil the previous Wednesday and we were here to celebrate the man he was and the life he had led. After the Rahr we went to our favourite new restaurant in downtown Ft. Worth called The Cowtown Diner. There, for some inexplicable (or possibly simply not remembered) reason, Marita Beth shed her necklace and placed it on the saucer. I took the picture.
Blue & Amber
Rest In Peace, Bert.

Quesadillas

28 January 2010
It’s no secret that Marita Beth & I like to eat out. It’s no secret that Marita Beth & I like Tex-Mex above most other locally avaiable cuisines. It’s not secret that Marita Beth & I like Abuelo’s and go there frequently. What is a secret, until recently, is that they have a fantastic happy hour with excellently priced margaritas and made-to-order free quesadillas. Long live happy hour at Abuelo’s.
Quesadillas
Cheers.

PubGuys at J. Gilligans

27 January 2010
We recorded tonight at J. Gilligan’s in Arlington. Home of the world-famous Irish Nachos. It was a good show, if I do say so myself, with quite a number of audience members. Larger than our normal crowd, I think. I fear we may have upset the “locals” a bit, because we definitely invade a space. Next time, we’ll probably need to record in the bar.

Love the glasses. Not so keen on the self-portrait.

Tack on a Wall

23 January 2010
I don’t remember the specifics of the day; but, I do remember that late in the afternoon I dropped my wife at an antique mall in which she’d never been, and I walked down to the nearby El Chico for a well-earned Dos Equiis. While there I snapped this photo of some tack they had hanging on the wall as decoration.
Tack on a Wall
Cheers.

Stonehenge

20 January 2010
Stonehenge. The magnificent, magical, mysterious place in the South of England has been reproduced in lovely detail on my desk.
Stonehenge
Yep.
A dear friend of mine on a recent trip to Europe returned with this little model carefully tucked in her luggage for me. It now graces my desk.
Thanks, Karen!
(…and, Happy Birthday Terrill!)

Cheers.
