A Dog in Motion
Late in the day and again I’ve neglected to take a photo. My pup, Cormac, afforded the opportunity to rectify the negligence when he started a game of run & chase with our other Border Collie. I set the exposure for 1 second in a darkened room and tried numerous times. In this image, Cormac stopped briefly to provide the ghostly image. Unfortunately, the full second image also illuminates a few things I’d have rather kept out of the composition. But, such is the way it is, wot?

Very cool shot. It’s almost as if he’s fading away, since his hind end seems more solid than his head. You should try this technique with more photos; it would be intriguing to see what comes out!
