With the exception of about 30 more little buttons on the sleeves, Allen’s doublet is finished. I didn’t mean to stay up this late, but one thing led to another and I was always just one little job from a good stopping point. But, finally, I set the last grommet and tied on one sleeve to be sure it looks okay.
I am pleased with it, and I hope he will be equally pleased when he sees it this weekend.
It’s only Tuesday, so I ought to have time to do a couple of other little projects before we head to faire for final weekend. Yay for met deadlines.
