A hot, humid and, at times, very rainy day. But, in supplement to the post from the 30th, full of great friends. This delectable creature is one such friend

Transplanted from Wisconsin by way of Houston & Chicago, she has finally landed in my neck of the woods. So, especially during faire season, I get to spend hours with this camera-shy beauty. In penance to my taking of this photo, I was forced to spend a couple of hours in her company as she taught me the card game, Spite & Malice. My gods what punishment! ![]()
Cheers.

If you thought that was punishment, wait until I come down again. The difference between a talented amateur and a true professional. Be afraid. Be very afraid. And if that wasn’t scary enough, Janine makes me look like Mother Theresa. Denise
Denise: I fear that you may have missed the sarcasm in Kyle’s typing! I believe he was trying to say that there’s little he enjoys more than Allyson’s company. But, I am very intrigued to think that you are an expert at a game I don’t even know, and I can hardly wait for you to come back and beat the socks off of both of us! So . . . next weekend? I hear there’s a jewelry trunk show . . .!
