One morning after a fairly violent wind and rain storm, I saw the remains of this spider web under the partially protected canopy of stairs. A slight mist was falling still from the sky, but I have no method of determining whether the rain and wind caused the destruction, or if perhaps this web belongs to a particularly well-fed and presumably now-happy spider.
Whatever the reason for the destruction, the aftermath in the mist-laden sun streaks presented a fine photo opportunity.
