Bowl of Jewelry

Bowl of Jewelry

27 February 2010

Officially, I believe, this is the very last of our free weekends before faire season and all that that entails.

I indulged myself for the early part of the day and did some further scrapbooking on this “college years” book I’m working on—it’s coming along very well!  My sincerest thanks once again to Carrie for helping me get off my butt and get going on this.  Later in the afternoon, we decided to head to No Frills (I know . . .) and we hadn’t been there ten minutes when we were joined by friends, so obviously, that’s where we were supposed to be!  We left there, ran a couple of errands. one of which was to pick up the items we needed to take to a birthday party, and were ready to head that way, when Kyle realized he really didn’t feel well enough to go.  Perhaps, the stress of his work week finally caught up with him—I don’t know—but rest, not partying was what he needed at that point.  So, we went home, he nestled into the sofa, and I got even more cropping done.    Hopefully, Curtis will forgive and understand—we’ll have to owe him a birthday toast!

Just before bed, I snapped this photo of the jewelry I’ve dropped into my little copper bowl in the last few weeks.  I periodically put things back in their true proper places, but this little bowl holds the things I’ve worn recently, which also tend to be those I wear the most.   It’s chaotic range of colours and shapes caught my eye as I brushed my teeth, and ultimately eclipsed other photos from the day.
