Well, I did it! I sat through the four-hour class and took the test (I was the only one in the class to get 100%) and now, I’m TABC Certified!
Theoretically, that makes me more employable. I’ve got my name in the hat to be called for private parties, wine tastings, and the like. And, if I wanted to, little places like the Mexican restaurant down the street, might let me do some basic training behind a bar (with little to no pay, of course!) Eventually, I’d like to be fully trained for bartending, ’cause someday, we’re gonna have that castle or manor house with it’s own little pub!
