Gal Pals in Ohio 2009

4 October 2009

Technically, I took no photos today. The morning was full of packing and focused on getting the most quality time out of my girlfriends that I could. We had breakfast, then lunch, and in a whirlwind of exchanging books and email addresses and making plans for next year’s gathering, we went outside to have our photo taken. Charlie enthusiastically agreed to do the picture taking so we could all be in the photos, and once I was on the road toward the airport, I never thought about the camera again. I got home, was met at the airport by both Kyle and Kelly, and we went straight home. Kyle is not feeling well and he and Kelly had only recently had lunch, so going home sounded best.

I was tired, and had my eye on a busy day on Monday. Kelly knew she had the drive back to TRF and a hard week down there. Kyle was sick. So, our house was quiet early, and I didn’t dig the camera out of where it was packed . . . besides, anything I photographed would have been anti-climactic after my wonderful weekend.

So, thanks to Charlie for the photo today. And, thanks to my TCU Gal Pals for an outstanding mini-vacation I wouldn’t have missed for the world.

Saw the photos – looks like you had a blast! And you look fabulous. By the way, the skirt you’re wearing in this photo looks very familiar.
Hope TRF goes well for you – tell Kat “Hi” for me – I miss you.

Yep, Carol! I liked that skirt on you so much, I went back and bought myself one . . . and two more in different colours! ;-)
    I miss you, too!
