Handsewing Through the Sniffles

Handsewing Trim

30 March 2010

I don’t know if I have a cold or if I’m just experiencing a nasty allergy attack, but one way or the other, I’m miserable.  I cannot be more than arm’s reach from a tissue box and no amount of blowing my nose even puts a dent in how much snot is preventing me from breathing.  It started Sunday night and hasn’t let up, yet.   The really bad part is how badly it is eating into my energy level.  I have so much work to do!

This bodice is just one of my many projects to be done this week.  This is for Glenda and goes with the matching skirts I posted one day last week.  The hard work is all done on this … now, all that remains is the handsewing.  I’ve done about three hours of it, and I figure I have about two more to go… and that’s without beading or setting jewels on it.

Of course, it would go faster, if I didn’t have to stop to blow my nose every five minutes!
