Okay, I’m cheating. I took only a couple of photos on Saturday, and they were both of charming teenage girls—the daughters of a customer/friend at Pendragon Costumes. I didn’t think it was appropriate for me to post those photos here, so I’m time-shifting our super fun Bridesmaids Butt sketch. Our talented artist, Jonathan, who does these fabulous sketches was fulfilling another obligation today, and was not at faire. So, this sketch actually didn’t “happen” until Sunday. But, the original plan was for it to happen on Saturday, so I’m going with it.
This sketch depicts Ginger and Delaenya and me—the three bridesmaids in Kelly and John’s upcoming wedding. We are all very proud and delighted to be playing a role in Kelly’s special day next year, and we thought this sketch would be a fabulous gift for us to give Kelly . . . and of course, we were right! She loved it! I think we’ll have it framed and on display at the reception! 
So, since this event actually took place on Sunday at noon, it should be said that we had a rockin’ day at Pendragon! The crowd at faire was huge, and a fair number of them were happily spending with us. Once the day was done, we waited a long time, finally giving up on the traffic and walking the last little distance to the Yellow House to have dinner with our friends: George, Delaenya, Karly, Garry, Lee, Ginger, Scott, Sarah, Kat, Vince, Terri, Ellie and her friend, and I’m sure I might be forgetting somebody . . . it was a fun group. After eating, the bridesmaids and Kelly all disappeared into her house for a toast and some wedding planning. It was amusing how polite we were all trying to be about giving Kelly all the control over what we wear! Ultimately, we did all pick a favourite design, and we settled on colours, as well. I was very proud of us! Kelly is planning to make all of our dresses, as well as her own—in fabulous Victorian fashion! We can hardly wait!
