Day Fourteen at Bristol
As I was headed up my stairs and into my living space this morning, my eye caught movement, and I quickly focused on this beautiful butterfly as it landed in one of my flower boxes and proceeded to feed. I watched for a moment, then decided that perhaps I’d have time to run inside for my camera. As it turned out, I not only had time for that, but I was able to shoot quite a few really lovely pictures that I’m really proud of. They are available for viewing on my Flickr photo stream. It was actually really hard to choose just one for the KRuMB.

Wow! This is absolutely gorgeous. I would frame this. Or make some sort of collage out of all of the photos you took of this subject, because they are all spectacular. I love the contrast between the bright orange butterfly and the soft purple flowers. What kind of flowers are those, by the way?
Hope you’re doing well up at Bristol!
