Not only is it Friday again, but it’s Friday the 13th. Does anybody even hold to the superstitions around that, these days? I certainly do not, and I went on about my day like it were any other Friday during faire.
I am prepared for my fitting with Allen and Melissa—her overskirt is complete, her underskirt and bodice both almost complete. Sleeves are awaiting successful mock-up fitting. For Allen, right now, I have the skirt to his outer doublet, and the underdoublet, partially built. His pattern was enough of a challenge, I can go no further without this fitting. So, next week will be a huge push to pump out the rest of their stuff.
For today, I snapped another photo of the fabric “trim” on Melissa’s overskirt . . . I guess I really like it! And, of course, my ability to be original with my photography probably decreases when I only get one hour of sleep!
