True to his word, Jonathan brought his Pente game with him this weekend, with an eye on a bit of a tournament with Kyle. So, there was coffee and Pente before our traditional bloody mary Sunday. Turns out the two of them are pretty well-matched at Pente! It is good that we had diversions today, though, because despite an absolutely beautiful day, business was so bad I simply couldn’t think about it.
As always at TRF, though, we had fun. And we were not the only ones who’s business was suffering for some reason. Kyle worked for Iris and Rose and saw the same sort of lackluster sales and tips. I wish I knew what the deal was, but at this point it does no good to mope about it. I am simply planning on an absolutely fabulous final weekend.
