In a wonderful happenstance of scheduling, the world – the U.S.A in specific – get a break from the snollygosters of Washington, D.C. and get to concentrate completely on the ancient, tribal ritual of trial by combat. The Superbowl ® is played on the first Sunday of February and in election years it’s a welcome respite.
This year, like most years, I don’t really care who wins or loses, but the ritual still calls and I watch the brightly-coloured warriors perform their intricate time-honoured dances.
At the same time that the warriors are entering combat, the spectators are devouring the spoils from recent hunt-and-kill sessions at the local grocery market. Here are the spoils of my most recent hunt.

I’ve certainly never seen these chips anywhere. That being said, I’m not so sure I’d buy them anyway not being a fan – at all – of Terra Chips.

Since Kyle and I have to struggle to have the energy for a two-block trip to Kroger, we never make it to Whole Foods or HEB’s giant Central Market. I expect those would be the only places around here to find Terra Chips . . . anybody know differently? I love them, and I think Kyle would too, if he’d give them another chance!

Albertsons! That’s where I found ‘em! Kroger is my good ‘ol stand by, but Albertson is just a few blocks closer and I decided to give them a try today.
