As I arranged these stomachers I stayed up ’til after four o’clock sewing and grommeting, I realized they reminded me of a pinwheel . . . the colourful childhood toy that spins with a gust of air. I wanted them to look cool in a photo, and since they are a triangular sort of shape, a circular design seemed the easiest . . . not sure why the pinwheel concept got stuck in my head, but here you go.
I cut chemises all afternoon — did lots of computer and filing work — and was ready for a break when Kyle got home from work, and Larry and Denise and Ally arrived soon thereafter. So, it was off too No Frills for an evening of very successful trivia-playing and some dinner. I always knew that we would rock with Larry and Denise’s help . . . and we did! On one game, we were number seven in the nation! Woo hoo!
