As you've likely gleaned, I work in Corporate America. I'm not always happy about it, but it does (kind of) pay the bills. And for the greater part I'm proud to be part of the company I work for. I work at the Headquarters of one of the largest (if not the largest) employer in North Texas. This photo is of the hall formed by the mass of cubicles directly outside of my cube.

I've no idea who that is that walked through the photo just as I pressed the shutter, but it speaks well. The headless, nameless almost etheral personage is pretty much the way most corporations see their employees. We're more a number than a name and are easily (and sometimes frequently) replaced. Ahh, the cubicle hall that is also my cubicle hell.
Cheers.

Saturday. Despite the (finally) beginning of the English Football season; despite the fact that I can watch football on two different channels; I was feeling low. Probably because I was not in Wisconsin. Possibly because it was 103 degrees outside my door. Either way, I couldn’t really be arsed to do anything. My personal football training was cancelled due to general malaise and I’m guessing that weighed in on the overall feeling of the day. Blue & Blurry.
Cheers.

25 May
Friday night. I was still sick, out-of-sorts and generally unhappy. I was unable to keep my dinner in me, but still I had to be at faire for final weekend.
We arrived, unloaded and I was just thinking about calling it a night (try to get a good nights sleep, you know?), when it occurred to me that I’d yet to take a photo. I went back downstairs and tried some long-exposures of the faire site at night. But there just wasn’t enough ambient light to make them work. Therefore, I grabbed my little flashlight that I keep attached to my keyring and did this:

A bit ghostly (or should I say ghastly as that’s how I felt?), a bit surreal but groovy in final execution.
Cheers.
