Unfortunately, my brother will probably never read this. He doesn’t seem to really use a computer very often. He has email addresses, but never uses them. He mentioned he was somewhat familiar with eBay, but not overly much. And, I’m pretty certain he can count on one hand the number of times he’s read a blog, much less mine! But, I’m gonna write about him, anyway!
While he and Melanie went to somewhere north of Madison to look at and ultimately purchase a car from a friend of our mom’s, I had a long-overdue and very enjoyable visit with Joseph. After discovering that many of the great little eateries in Racine were closed on Mondays, we ended up at Shilling’s. Now, last summer, Shilling’s was this great little British pub that we couldn’t stay in very long ’cause it was so smoky. But, this summer, they’ve decided to lead the pack, and they’ve gone “no smoking” at Shilling’s—and they’ve added an incredible menu of tasty food. I had their grilled chicken sandwich, and it was great!
Later in the day, Kelly and I met William and Melanie at Villa DiCarlo in downtown Kenosha for dinner. I ordered ravioli, Kelly had a pasta dish with Italian sausage, and the kids had pizza, and all of us were pleased with our meals. We decided to burn some calories after eating, and we enjoyed a fun little walk down 6th Avenue and back. Kenosha’s little downtown is charming, and sure seems to be “coming back.”
I managed to convince William to stay one more night, so in the morning we’ll meet for breakfast!

Wish I could have been there to enjoy everyone’s time with you.

Oh, sweetheart. I wish you could be here, too! I miss you. I passed along all your love and comments to W.T. and Melanie. They look forward to some time in the future when they can see you.
