21 March 2007
I ignored my 2 a.m. “cat alarm” to quit working. In fact, I’ve ignored Artemis’ requests for bedtime at 3 and at 4 a.m. as well. I think, despite the fact that there’s an original Star Trek episode on TVLand right now—always a source of both amusement and entertainment for me—that I had better call it a night, before it’s actually morning.
I’ve been up for nearly 24 hours and I’m really starting to feel it. Kyle and I got up at five a.m. Wednesday, to get him ready for his one-day business trip to L.A, I had a difficult day here in the workshop—design and construction frustrations. I feel like I’ve ripped out as many stitches as I’ve successfully completed. But, I’m nearly done with this project, now: one sleeve is done, so the other one will be easy. Then, a few grommets, buttons and button holes—-oh, and a pair of breeches. But, those are gonna have to wait ’til tomorrow.
G’night.
